Does Qiraa replace a Qur’an teacher?
No. Qiraa supports practice and can surface possible places to review, but speech recognition can be wrong. It does not certify recitation or replace a qualified Qur’an teacher.
Do I have to begin with the alphabet?
No. Learners who already read Arabic can begin in the mushaf, listening, hifz, tajweed, or recitation modes. The alphabet path is available for learners who need it.
Can Qiraa work offline?
The Qur’an reader, lessons, and local progress are designed to remain available without paid AI use. Server-assisted recitation features require connectivity, and some listening content may need to download first.
Which languages are supported?
Qiraa supports English and Arabic interfaces initially. Qur’an text remains Arabic, with reading and learning experiences designed for both interface languages.
How does family learning work?
Family learning supports separate learner profiles and, on the Family plan, a connected family group with shared visibility controls. Recite Together can also guide an ayah-by-ayah session.
What happens to my recitation audio?
Live checking processes microphone audio to return feedback. Cloud pronunciation assessment and optional contribution to improve future models are separate choices. The Privacy page explains every audio path.
